These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern all services, classes, workshops, intensives, online courses, digital content, and related services provided by Studio Odette through www.studio-odette.com (the “Website”).

By purchasing, accessing, registering for, or participating in any Studio Odette service, you agree to these Terms.

2. SERVICES
Studio Odette provides:
- online ballet courses and digital educational content,
- in-person ballet classes,
- workshops,
- intensives,
- coaching,
- and related dance education services.

Services may be offered:
- digitally,
- in-person,
- live,
- pre-recorded,
- individually,
- or in groups.

3. ELIGIBILITY
You must be at least 18 years old, or have permission from a parent or legal guardian, to purchase or participate in Studio Odette services.
Parents/guardians are responsible for minors participating in Courses or classes.

4. ACCOUNT ACCESS
Users may be required to create an account to access digital Courses.
You are responsible for:
- maintaining confidentiality of login credentials,
- all activity under your account,
- ensuring your information is accurate.
Account sharing is prohibited.
Studio Odette reserves the right to suspend or terminate access for misuse or violation of these Terms.

5. DIGITAL COURSES
5.1 Course Access
Unless otherwise stated:
- digital Courses are purchased through a one-time payment,
- access is granted for one (1) year from purchase,
- content is streamed online only,
- downloading is not permitted.

5.2 Intellectual Property
All digital content is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.
Users may not:
- copy,
- download,
- record,
- reproduce,
- distribute,
- share,
- resell,
- publicly display,
- or commercially exploit content.
Unauthorized use may result in termination of access and legal action.

5.3 Withdrawal Rights for Digital Content
Digital Courses are digital content supplied electronically.
By purchasing and accessing digital content, the customer:
- expressly consents to immediate delivery,
- acknowledges that access begins immediately,
- acknowledges that the statutory 14-day withdrawal right is thereby lost once access begins, in accordance with applicable EU and Swedish consumer protection laws.

6. IN-PERSON CLASSES & EVENTS

6.1 Participation
Participation in physical classes and events is voluntary and at the participant’s own risk.
Participants are responsible for:
- ensuring they are medically and physically fit,
- following instructor guidance,
- training within their own limits.
Studio Odette reserves the right to refuse participation if behavior is unsafe, disruptive, or inappropriate.

6.2 Schedule Changes
Studio Odette reserves the right to:
- change teachers,
- adjust schedules,
- substitute locations,
- cancel or reschedule classes where necessary.

7. PAYMENTS
All prices are displayed at checkout and include VAT where applicable unless otherwise stated.
Payment must be completed before access or participation is granted.
Studio Odette reserves the right to modify pricing at any time.

8. CANCELLATION & REFUNDS
Cancellation and refund terms are governed by the separate Cancellation & Refund Policy available on the Website.

9. HEALTH & SAFETY DISCLAIMER
Dance and physical training involve inherent physical risks, including risk of injury.
By participating, you acknowledge and accept these risks.
Studio Odette is not responsible for injuries, damages, or losses arising from participation except where liability cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

Participants are encouraged to consult a healthcare professional before beginning physical training.

10. LIABILITY LIMITATION
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Studio Odette shall not be liable for:
- indirect damages,
- loss of income,
- business interruption,
- consequential damages,
- loss of data,
- personal property damage.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

11. FORCE MAJEURE
Studio Odette shall not be liable for delays, cancellations, or inability to perform services due to events beyond reasonable control, including:
- illness,
- strikes,
- pandemics,
- travel restrictions,
- government actions,
- technical failures,
- venue closures,
- natural disasters.

Studio Odette may reschedule affected services or provide alternative arrangements where appropriate.

12. PHOTOGRAPHY & MEDIA
Classes or events may occasionally be photographed or recorded for promotional or educational purposes.
Participation may constitute consent unless the participant notifies Studio Odette in writing before the event.
Additional terms may apply through separate media consent forms.

13. PRIVACY
Personal data is processed in accordance with the Studio Odette Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws including GDPR.

14. TERMINATION
Studio Odette may suspend or terminate access or participation for:
- Terms violations,
- misuse,
- harassment,
- unauthorized sharing,
- unlawful conduct.
No refund will be provided where termination results from user misconduct.

15. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by Swedish law.
Mandatory consumer rights in the customer’s country of residence may still apply where required by law.

LIABILITY WAIVER & ASSUMPTION OF RISK – STUDIO ODETTE

By participating in any Studio Odette class, workshop, intensive, rehearsal, coaching session, online Course, or related activity, I acknowledge and agree that:

Dance training and physical exercise involve inherent risks, including but not limited to:

muscle injuries,
falls,
physical strain,
illness,
accidents,
and other physical injuries.

I voluntarily participate at my own risk.
I am responsible for determining whether I am physically and medically fit to participate.
I agree to follow instructor guidance and train within my personal limitations.
I understand that Studio Odette instructors are not medical professionals and do not provide medical advice.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release and hold harmless Studio Odette, its owners, teachers, contractors, assistants, and affiliates from liability for injuries, damages, losses, or claims arising from participation, except where caused by gross negligence or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
I understand that participation may involve physical contact corrections where appropriate in dance instruction unless otherwise communicated.
I accept responsibility for my personal belongings and property.
If registering a minor, I confirm that I am the parent or legal guardian and consent to the minor’s participation under these terms.

By participating, I confirm that I have read, understood, and agreed to this waiver.

MEDIA CONSENT – STUDIO ODETTE

Studio Odette may photograph, film, or record classes, workshops, performances, rehearsals, or events for promotional, educational, archival, or social media purposes.

By participating, you grant Studio Odette permission to use photographs, video recordings, audio recordings, and related media containing your image, likeness, voice, or performance in:

marketing materials,
social media,
website content,
promotional campaigns,
educational materials,
printed materials.

This usage may occur without compensation.

If you do not wish to appear in media content, you must notify Studio Odette in writing before participation.

For minors, consent must be provided by a parent or legal guardian.

DIGITAL COURSES

SERVICES
Studio Odette provides online ballet education and related digital content, including streaming video lessons and course materials (the “Courses”).

Courses are provided as digital content accessible online through the Website.

Unless otherwise stated:
- Courses are purchased through a one-time payment.
- Access is granted for one (1) year from the date of purchase.
- Content is streamed online only.
- Downloading is not permitted.

ELIGIBILITY
You must be at least 18 years old, or have permission from a parent or legal guardian, to purchase Courses through the Website.

ACCOUNT ACCESS
To access purchased Courses, you may be required to create an account.

You are responsible for:
- maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials,
- all activity under your account,
- ensuring your information is accurate and current.

You may not share your account or provide access to others.

Studio Odette reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

COURSE ACCESS PERIOD
Unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase:
- access to Courses is valid for one (1) year from the purchase date,
- access expires automatically after the access period ends.

Expired access is not automatically renewed.

PAYMENTS
All prices are listed in the currency shown at checkout and include VAT where applicable unless otherwise stated.

Payment must be completed before access is granted.

Studio Odette reserves the right to change prices at any time, but price changes will not affect completed purchases.

DIGITAL CONTENT & WAIVER OF WITHDRAWAL RIGHTS
The Courses are digital content delivered electronically.

By completing your purchase and accessing the Course, you expressly:
- consent to immediate delivery of digital content,
- acknowledge that access begins immediately after purchase,
- acknowledge that you thereby lose your statutory 14-day right of withdrawal under applicable EU and Swedish consumer protection laws.

This consent is collected during checkout before payment is completed.

REFUND POLICY
Due to the digital nature of the Courses and immediate access being granted upon purchase:
- all purchases are final,
- Courses are non-refundable,
- no refunds or partial refunds are provided once access has been granted.

However, nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights under applicable law.

If you experience technical issues preventing reasonable access to the Course, please contact Studio Odette at odette.stockholm@gmail.com.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content provided by Studio Odette, including but not limited to:
- videos,
- choreography,
- class structures,
- exercises,
- music edits,
- branding,
- graphics,
- text,
- logos,
- teaching methods,

is owned by or licensed to Studio Odette and protected by intellectual property laws.

Purchasing a Course grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license for personal use only.

You may not:
- copy,
- reproduce,
- distribute,
- share,
- screen record,
- download,
- publish,
- resell,
- sublicense,
- publicly display,
- commercially exploit

any Course content without prior written permission.

PROHIBITED USE
You agree not to:
- share account access,
- attempt to download or capture Course videos,
- circumvent security measures,
- use the Courses commercially,
- upload malicious code,
- interfere with the Website or platform functionality.

Violation may result in immediate termination of access without refund.

HEALTH & PHYSICAL ACTIVITY DISCLAIMER
Ballet and physical training involve inherent physical risks.

By participating in any Course, you acknowledge that:
- participation is voluntary,
- you are responsible for your own physical condition and limitations,
- you should consult a qualified healthcare professional before beginning any exercise program if necessary.

Studio Odette is not responsible for injuries, health issues, or damages arising from participation in the Courses except where liability cannot legally be excluded.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
You are responsible for ensuring that you have:
- a compatible device,
- stable internet access,
- suitable software/browser access

required to stream and use the Courses.

Studio Odette does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability of the Website or Course platform.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Studio Odette shall not be liable for:
- indirect damages,
- loss of profits,
- business interruption,
- loss of data,
- consequential damages

arising from use of the Website or Courses.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

TERMINATION
Studio Odette may suspend or terminate access to Courses if:
- these Terms are violated,
- misuse or unauthorized sharing occurs,
- fraudulent or abusive activity is detected.

No refunds will be provided in such cases.

PRIVACY
Studio Odette processes personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

GOVERNING LAW
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Sweden.

DISPUTE RESOLUTION

CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
Studio Odette reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time.

Updated Terms become effective upon publication on the Website.
